Join a committee

As a member of UKOUG, we invite you to become a chair or deputy chair for one of our event committees. These committees are extremely important to UKOUG and are set up to ensure that our events continue to represent the needs of each community. The role includes shaping the agendas for events and ensuring that they remain relevant and of great interest to the group.

Deputy SIG Chair(s) l  n The person(s), elected by majority vote, holding the position for one year (can be re-elected at the end of the term), responsible supporting the SIG Chair.  The numbers of deputies are dependant on the size of the SIG.

The role of the deputy SIG Chair is to:

·         Attend agenda meetings

·         Source speakers for the agenda

·         Help promote the SIG

·         Co-host the SIG and encourage audience participation
