1. Do you know your UKOUG products and services?

   Website

   You can access a vast array of information and many of the following member benefits from the UKOUG website at: www.ukoug.org. In order to gain access you will need to have set up your online profile. There are many benefits to creating an online profile so please take some time to view these online. Don’t have an online account? Please take the time to set one up.

   Book discounts

   McGraw-Hill, O’Reilly, Pearson Education and Packt Publishing all offer discounts to UKOUG members on their Oracle related titles. Find out how to claim your discount...

   Ebulletin

   You have a choice depending on your areas of interest, to receive a fortnightly round up of UKOUG, Oracle and third party news. We also have a number of community ebulletins that are sent out every two months. To sign up to receive the ebulletin you will need to log into the UKOUG website and amend your communication preferences. You can access the ebulletin archive via our website.

   Library content

   Access over 10 year’s worth of content from conference sessions and special interest group presentations to articles, papers, survey results and more... take a look...

   Listservers
   
   UKOUG are keen to ensure that members can have the opportunity to problem solve and learn from each other outside of our face-to-face events, and a listserver can be a great way to achieve this. We have several groups of UKOUG members who have requested a listserver to be created, including the very active Local Government group, Public Sector HCM group and a Hyperion HFM group. If you are keen to join a listserver or would like to set up a new group, please contact: products_team@ukoug.org.

   Online forums

   Another way for members to communicate with other members with similar interests is via our discussion forums. We are starting to actively promote these as feedback has indicated that many members are unaware they exist. Please help us spread the word and start posting your questions here so we can encourage other members to sign up and start interacting on a regular basis. We are happy to create forums for members if there is a need for one. All you have to do is contact us to discuss your requirements.

   Oracle Scene

   To quickly and easily subscribe to the digital version of our flagship publication, all you need to do is update your preferences in your online profile.

   Training discounts

   Oracle University, StayAhead, iTrain Education and BeLife all offer discounts on training courses to UKOUG members. Take a look at what they offer and work out how much you could save...

   UKOUG events

   UKOUG provides the Oracle community with over 80 events a year across the UK and Ireland to enable members to network, share knowledge, learn about new product developments and meet senior Oracle representatives and other industry leaders. UKOUG Conference Series, the largest series of independent Oracle events in EMEA and has a combined total of over 420 sessions over 12 days across the year. 2. Forgotten membership number?

   Please note that all correspondance sent out from UKOUG will quote your membership number. If however, you do not have any of this to hand and you can not find your main contact to ask them, then please send an e-mail to info@ukoug.org with Membership number reminder as the subject.

3. Forgotten password?
   If you have forgotten your password click the 'forgotten password?' tab under the members' login. Your details will be sent to your registered email address.

4. How can I pay my membership renewal fee?

5. How do I access the digital version of Oracle Scene?

   You can access the digital version of Oracle Scene by logging in and updating your profile under the 'My interests and profile' section and selecting to receive Oracle Scene in the digital format.

   You can view the latest edition here. Please have your log in details to hand.

   If you have forgotten your password, you can click the 'Forgotten password?' link under the members login and follow instructions.

10. How do I update my profile?

    You can update your profile under three main areas:

    1. My details
    2. My interests & profile
    3. Change password
    
    To update your profile, you must have your username and password to log in via the top right hand side of the UKOUG website.
    
    If you are unsure of your username and password, please use the 'Forgotten password'  tab under the members' login section of the website. Alternatively, please emai: info@ukoug.org

11. I have not received confirmation for my registration for a SIG, what should I do?

12. I want to present at UKOUG events but do not know how to proceed?

    Do you know which Special Interest Group (SIG) your topic will fall into?
    
    The community pages include a list of our events, key information and who they are aimed at. 
    
    Once you know where your topic fits, visit www.oug.org/submit to submit an abstract.
    
    Your abstract will be sent to the SIG committee who put together the event agenda. They will contact you to discuss your application.

14. What are the payment details for UKOUG?

    Please note that the following information is for UKOUG and SIG payments only and should not be used to make payment for the UKOUG Conference Series. For payments and details relating to registration for the UKOUG Conference Series, please contact the UKOUG Registration Office on 01252 77 15 93.

16. Where can I find information about Oracle's pricing and licensing policies?
    The general principles for Oracle licensing and pricing can be found at: http://oracle.com/corporate/pricing with the 'Software Investment Guide' being a very useful source of information.
    
    This guide defines Oracle's policies and cannot be challenged by their sales force. Useful email addresses for specific pricing and licensing questions can also be found here.

17. Why is it important to have an online account?

    • Manage the information we send you: UKOUG want to ensure that we only contact you with the information you find relevant. So log in today and update your communication preference.     

    • Access Oracle Scene online: Many of our members find Oracle Scene interesting and informative. When requests for extra copies came through to us we decided to launch Oracle Scene online. This way all our members can read it over the web whenever they please.   

    • Register online for event places: You can register online and manage your bookings for our SIG meetings and Customer Forums. If you are the main contact for your membership you will also need the password used for your online account.

    • Access presentations and articles in the library: In order to download presentation slides from all our events including the Conference Series and any articles made available to our members, all items in the library can only be accessed if you are a member and have an online account.

    • Claim member discounts: You can log in to access information on claiming your member discounts from publishers and training providers, to include Oracle University.

    How do I get an online profile or update an existing one?

    If you have not yet registered for the online services, please click here. If you are a member, you will need to have your membership number to hand. If you do not know it, please ask the person in your company who manages the membership.

    If you believe you do have an online account but do not know your log in details, please click here to enter your email address (which will be your username), then answer your security question and your password will be sent to you.
