Hyperion Essbase

The Essbase & Reporting SIG is a Hyperion specific organisation that enables its members to increase their knowledge, enhance professional skills and provide a guide to resources to maximi sing the value of Oracle Hyperion Essbase and Reporting.  Offers the opportunity for members to:

  • Input into Customer Advisory Board, which influence Oracle product strategies

  • Network with other users through conferences and SIG meetings

  • Learn best practice when implementing and supporting systems built using the tools

  • Gain insight into how other organisations are using the tools to gain competitive advantage 

  • Get an understanding of new functionality and future product direction / strategy

Hyperion Planning and Essbase SIG run two combined events a year usually in March and October

Oracle Hyperion Financial Management is a comprehensive, Web-based application that delivers global financial consolidation, reporting and analysis in a single, highly scalable software solution. Oracle Hyperion Financial Management utilizes today's most advanced technology, yet is built to be owned and maintained by the enterprise's finance team.

The Hyperion HFM SIG aims to enable its members through learning resources, to enhance professional skills and make the most of your Hyperion investment.  The group offers the opportunity for members to:

Hyperion HFM SIG runs twice a year in London, usually in March and October

Hyperion Planning

Hyperion Planning is a budgeting and forecasting application from Oracle formerly owned by Hyperion Solutions Corporation. Hyperion Planning uses Essbase(a multidimensional database product sold by Hyperion) as a database and calculation engine, and includes a web-based user interface.
